Accra Lions head coach, James Nicholas Francis is very proud of his lads following their emphatic victory over Medeama SC in match-week 27 to return on winning ways
The Lions marmalized the Mauves and Yellows by 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Ohene Gyan Stadium to halt their five game winless run with four loses.
Young sensation Bassit Seidu scored four times making him the first to do so in a single game this season in the Ghana Premier League.
However, Vincent Atinga scored a brace of penalties for consolation for the visitors.
Speaking to StarTimes, the English gaffer heaped praises on his players for responding to their recent appaling run and hopes of more of that in their subsequent matches.
"I feel in the first half, we struggled in possession a little bit but we were lot more composed in the second. They had their chances and we allowed them to get some crosses in, sometimes we commit too many fouls in and around the box but we bounced back and I'm proud of the boys."
Accra Lions will play as guests to Legon Cities FC in the next round of matches.
