Asante Kotoko's tenth signing of the summer, Albert Amoah has expressed delight to finally join the giants and has pleaded with the fans he will need their support to excel in Kumasi.

The 22-year-old was unveiled earlier this morning by the Porcupine Warriors after passing all mandatory medicals and agreed to a three-year deal.

He becomes the third attacker the Porcupine Warriors' have snatched so far after already securing Sudanese import Abdoelkarem Yagoub and former Liberty Professionals striker Elvis Kyei Baffour.

Speaking with the club's official media after the signing, Albert Amoah stated he knows the striking history of this great club and is something he is looking forward to reviving and help the club to achieve success.

"I am thrilled to be here. I know Kotoko has had great strikers in the past, but now it is my time to build upon their legacy. While I may make mistakes and have off days, I urge the supporters to continually encourage me to strive for excellence.”

The prolific forward had an impressive season in the just-finished campaign, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists in 17 games.

His attacking prowess and playmaking ability make him a valuable addition to our team as we aim to improve our squad for the upcoming season.

He becomes the tenth signing Asante Kotoko have made so far having parted ways with 22 players and are still making some additions to patch up all cracks.

The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season will commence on September 6, 2026.
