Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has expressed high praise for the club's newest signing, Albert Amoah, highlighting his dynamic playing style and creative abilities. Amoah joined Kotoko from the relegated Great Olympics, completing a three-year deal announced on Saturday.

"Albert is a player who brings a lot of energy and creativity to the field," Ogum shared during an interview with the club's communications team. "His ability to both score and set up goals makes him a versatile forward that will fit well into our tactical plans. We have been following his progress closely, and we believe he has the potential to make a significant impact at Kotoko. We are delighted to welcome him to the club."

Amoah, celebrated for his attacking prowess, scored five goals and provided three assists in 17 games last season. His arrival is anticipated to significantly boost Kotoko's attacking options as they gear up for the 2024/25 season.

Having completed his mandatory medical examination, Amoah is now preparing to join his new teammates for the upcoming season. He is expected to feature in Asante Kotoko's friendly game against Medeama next month.

The acquisition of Amoah is part of Kotoko's broader strategy to strengthen their squad following a challenging 2023/24 season, which saw them finish sixth in the Ghana Premier League.
