The lanky centre-back has revealed the reasons behind his decision to join the one-time CAF Champions League title holders ahead of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
Newly-signed Hearts of Oak defender Konadu Yiadom has described the club as the best top-tier club in the Ghana Premier League.
The 22-year-old believes agreeing to join the Phobians on a three-year deal will aid him to achieve his football career ambitions.
“I chose the best team in our league because I have to achieve my career ambitions.” Yiadom told the club's media
“This is where the aim will be most fulfilled. It’s a dream come true.”
Yiadom joins the Phobians on a three-year deal from lower-tier side Tema United after ending his stay at relegated Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy SC.
Konadu was officially announced as a new recruit of Hearts of Oak on Tuesday night after helping the Black Galaxies to secure a ticket to the next edition of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
Yiadom, who is key member of the the current Black Galaxies team, is the latest addition to coach Samuel Boadu's side after the signing of Faisal Adams, Prince Nana Kwasi Darmang, Linda Mtange, Zakaria Yakubu, William Bumekpor, Junior Kaaba and Eric Ofori Antwi.
Hearts of Oak are currently preparing for the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup campaign and the Ghana Premier League season
