The first Super-Clash of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season comes up this weekend and Hearts of Oak gaffer Aboubakar Ouattara has stated categorically clear his ambitions of heading into the game.

The Ivorian gaffer hasn't really fared against their bitter rivals since his arrival in Accra but is looking forward to finally make a statement thus time around.

The 'Phobians' had their recent three-game winning streak halted after being held by Nsoatreman FC to a 1-1 draw over weekend in the opening fixture of match-week 12.

Stephen Diyou scored in just thirteen minutes into the game to put the visitors ahead but Salim Adams equalised from a well-taken free kick few minutes later to split the points.

Speaking after game, the experienced coach said they are very much focused to beat their sworn rivals Asante Kotoko this weekend for all three points to make their supporters happy.

"Why not, why not, why not, are you thinking we are going to play because I need a draw, I want the three points? We are determined to make our fans proud.”

Hearts of Oak following their current four-game unbeaten run, are currently on the sixth spot with 19 points after 12 games.

The Super-Clash is slated for December 13, six days after Ghana's 2024 General Election.
