Aduana Stars have sacked their coach Yaw Acheampong, the 'relegation-threatened' Ghana Premier League side is set to announce in a few hours from now.
Aduana sit 14th in the table, just one point above the relegation zone, with only two wins, drawing six and losing four from 12 matches this season.
The 51-year-old Acheampong took over the bench at Aduana in August 2023, after coaching the likes of Medeama, Elmina Sharks and Eleven Wonders.
On Sunday, Aduana Stars were stunned 2-0 by Asante Kotoko at their own' Nana Agyemang Badu Park, inciting the sacking of Acheampong.
Assistant coach Paul Tandoh has been tasked to handle the team for now until a permanent gaffer is hired.
