Asante Kotoko striker, Steven Dese Mukwala aims at giving a better performance this season than he did in the last campaign.
The Ugandan forward joined the 'Kum Apem' outfit prior to the start of last season and really gave a good account of himself making him currently one of the fans favourite in Kumasi.
He managed 11 goals last season in the league but managed 13 and provided 5 assists in all competitions for the Reds.
He couldn't play on opening day against Heart of Lions but returned last weekend to feature in their 2-1 loss to Goldstars in Bibiani.
In a pre-match presser, the enterprising gunman admitted their start to the season isn't the best but hopes they get back on track as quick as possible.
He further noted he want to continue upgrading his output every season.
"Basically, my target for the season is to perform better than I did last season. I will do my best to become good."
"We have started on a small note but I believe with the technical team, we shall come good. As the coach said, it’s a process."
Mukwala, will hope for another starting berth when they host Karela United at the Baba Yara Stadium this Sunday, October 1, in match-day 3.
