Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway voiced his frustration with his players following their goalless draw against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Friday afternoon.
The Hunters entered the Week 4 clash eager to end a three-game winless streak but once again fell short, failing to convert their second-half dominance into goals.
Speaking after the match, Botchway expressed disappointment in his squad’s lack of commitment and cutting edge in the final third.
“I’m a little bit disappointed with the game because of the lack of creativity in the last third. We did a lot, and I was expecting the boys to do more than they did today. They didn’t sacrifice a little bit for the team. I’m surprised, and it gets me confused,” Botchway lamented.
The result leaves Bechem United in 14th place on the league table, having collected just two points from their opening four matches of the 2025/26 season.
They will now shift focus to their Week 5 fixture against Young Apostles on October 12, where Botchway will demand a stronger response from his players.
