Abednego Tetteh, the leading goal scorer of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, has confirmed his return to Bibiani Gold Stars after an attempt to pursue his football career in Libya faced unforeseen challenges.
The former Hearts of Oak striker shared insights into the situation during an interview with Happy FM, acknowledging the widespread reports about his return to Bibiani Gold Stars.
"I was heading to a club in Libya, and Bibiani chiefs asked me to return home. Whatever the club in Libya said they will pay, they are willing to pay." The unexpected recall from Bibiani Gold Stars prompted Tetteh to reconsider his plans and make the journey back to Ghana.
Bibiani Gold Stars, currently undergoing changes in their coaching staff following the departure of Michael Osei, has appointed Frimpong Manso as their new substantive coach.
Having faced challenges at Hearts of Oak and King Faisal, Tetteh achieved success with the Miners, scoring 18 goals to secure the top scorer award at the end of the last season.
