Head coach Winfred Dormon has expressed strong confidence in Dreams FC’s ability to win the MTN FA Cup this season following the team’s recent resurgence in form.
After a difficult start to the 2025/26 campaign, the “Still Believe” side have turned things around, climbing to ninth place in the Ghana Premier League after a crucial win over Medeama SC. Their improved performances have also seen them reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup after eliminating Heart of Lions.
Buoyed by momentum and growing confidence within the squad, Dormon believes his side has what it takes to go all the way and lift the trophy, pointing to their previous FA Cup success as motivation.
“Don’t forget that we are also chasing the FA Cup. If we keep believing and we keep pushing, we can go all the way to the final and possibly win it because we have won it before,” the coach told journalists after the team’s win against Medeama SC on Sunday.
Dreams FC will now face Medeama SC in the semi-finals, setting up a high-stakes encounter as they continue their pursuit of silverware.
