Newly signed Hearts of Oak defender Michael Awuah Mensah is determined to help the Phobians reclaim their lost glory and make a successful comeback in the Ghana Premier League.

The 24-year-old defender joined the club from Nations FC after an impressive performance last season and has set his sights on contributing to the team's success.

In an interview with Silver FM, Mensah expressed his eagerness to repay the club after they invested a significant amount of money to sign him. He is ready to give his all to the team and help them bounce back from their disappointing 14th-place finish in the recently concluded campaign.

"I have my personal target. I want to help Hearts of Oak to reclaim lost glory. I will repay the club after spending huge sums of money to sign me. I'm ready to give my all at the club," he said.

Mensah's arrival is expected to boost Hearts of Oak's defense, which struggled at times last season.

The defender has penned a three-year deal with the Accra-based club and is set to play a crucial role for the team next season.
