Hearts of Oak attacker, Asamoah Boateng Afriyie is unperturbed by his inability to find the back of the net yet for the capital based side.
The forward has featured in all of Hearts of Oak's four games in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign but is yet to open his goal account.
Asamoah Boateng Afriyie stated that he is not worried with his goal drought, stressing that the overall success of the team remains his ultimate goal.
“I’m playing a different role. I’m not worried about the goal drought. We are now gelling as a team. We are all keen about the team’s success not personal glory,” the ex Nations FC striker said after their goalless draw with Nations last Sunday.
Asamoah Boateng Afriyie made the switch to the Phobians in the off-season transfer window from Nations FC.
Hearts of Oak, who were out in search of their second win of the season which painfully did not come to pass - will next face sore-faced' Aduana Stars, who are yet to win a match after four rounds of matches into the season.
