Aduana Stars FC head coach Aristica Cioaba has expressed confidence in his side’s readiness ahead of their Week 5 Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United on Sunday, October 13, 2025.
Speaking to Aduana FC TV in his pre-match interview, the Romanian tactician praised his players for their focus and discipline during training this week, noting that their attitude gives him belief that they can secure all three points in the highly anticipated Bono derby.
“I’m very happy with what I’m seeing from the players [in training] in the past three days. They are listening, they are not talking too much, they are serious in training, and I’m very confident about Sunday’s game,” Cioaba said.
Reflecting on last season’s narrow 1–0 victory over Bechem United, Cioaba emphasized that the commitment and concentration of his players suggest they are capable of repeating that success.
“Every time people talk about the game, they mention that it’s a derby. Last year I was here and I won 1–0. From what I see from my players this week—their concentration and everything—there is the possibility that we can win the game,” he added.
The Bono derby is set to kick off at 3:00 p.m. at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
Aduana FC will be hoping to return to winning ways after a narrow defeat to Samartex in their previous outing, while Bechem United will be chasing their first victory of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
