Vision FC delivered a statement performance in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 3–0 win over Bibiani Goldstars at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex to claim their second win of the season.
The Eewo Boys turned on the style before their jubilant home fans, with Abdul Naseru Sumaila netting a brace in the 55th and 84th minutes, before substitute Sherif Mohammed Iddrissu applied the final flourish in stoppage time to complete a convincing victory.
After a cautious opening minutes, Nana Kweku Agyemang’s men quickly took control of proceedings, dictating tempo and carving out several chances. Midfield dynamo Setsofia Agetey came close to breaking the deadlock in the 19th minute with a thunderous drive that narrowly missed the post by inches.
Goldstars struggled to jell into the match and were largely second best in midfield, though they nearly punished Vision on the counter midway through the first half. However, their hopes were dashed when goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi was called into action multiple times to deny Sumaila from close range.
The breakthrough finally arrived 10 minutes after the restart with Sumaila pouncing on a defensive lapse to slot home coolly past Kobi. The in-form forward doubled his tally late on, after a swift team move.

With the visitors stretched and chasing shadows, substitute Sherif Mohammed Iddrissu sealed the rout in the 90th minute to ignite wild celebrations among the Vision faithful.
Statistically, Vision FC dominated possession with 54%, while Goldstars managed 46%, but it was the hosts’ clinical advantage that made the difference.
The result propels Vision FC into fifth place on the Ghana Premier League table with eight points, while Bibiani Goldstars slip to ninth, suffering their second defeat of the campaign.
Goldstars will aim for redemption when they welcome Berekum Chelsea to Duns Park on Wednesday, October 15, while Vision FC travel to face Bechem United next weekend in what promises to be another enthralling clash.
