Asante Kotoko are still yet to beat Nations FC in the Premier League after another thrilling goalless draw in what was an epic match-day 5 clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese. 

Both teams headed in with a strong mentality and showed so much determination right from onset with lots of attempts made on goal. 

Nations FC came so close to opening the scoring account in the 17th minute but Evans Sarfo was so unlucky after having his descent free kick goes off the upright. 

Kotoko’s best chance at half-time was produced in the 25th minute mark after a great team build-up. Lord Amoah picked Hubert Gyau with a clever mirror pass, he tried setting up Donzo at far post but Okow Grippman came in with a big clearance to rescue the situation. 

In the second half, Kotoko with an incursion after Philip Amoh came in field from the flanks and sent an ambitious strike but took a deflection and went out for a wasted corner kick. 

The Eagles responded with Emmanuel Annor weaved in from the flanks and launched in a descent cross directed at Danso in the but met no connection as it went across the face of goal. 

With three minutes to full-time, the Reds were awarded a free kick at a good position but Patrick Asiedu had his strike takes a wicked deflection as it finished goalless. 

Nations FC are now winless in their last four matches and will be hitting the road to play Dreams FC next
