The owner of the Ghanaian second-tier league outfit has been nabbed for his his alleged involvement in internet fraud.

Bankroller of PAC Academy, Inusah Ahmed was among the Ghanaian businessmen nabbed earlier this week by INTERPOL in collaboration with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for their alleged involvement in a $100 million fraud scheme.

Inusah Ahmed, known in local circles as Pascal or Agony, was arrested alongside three others namely Isaac Kofi Oduro Boateng (popularly called Kofi Boat), Derrick Van Yeboah, and Patrick Kwame Asare during the joint operation by the Interpol and FBI on June 13, 2025.

The quartet are currently in custody as extradition efforts are already in motion to have them tried in the United States for their fraudulent activities since 2013.

The arrest comes after months of intelligence collection and cooperation between Ghanaian security agencies and their foreign counterparts, according to people familiar with the inquiry. The accused are thought to be members of a larger cybercrime organisation that has been using sophisticated online schemes to defraud people in several jurisdictions.

Although the charges' specifics have not yet been made public, authorities anticipate that the case will include major accusations of wire fraud, identity theft, and money laundering—all of which are considered federal offences in the United States.
