Samartex new signing Isaac Baffoe has underlined his side's plan next season after signing the dotted line, noting the need to ‘dish out another excellent performance' despite winning the Ghana Premier League title last season.
The Timber Giants won their first Ghana Premier League title, dethroning Medeama. They will represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
Speaking at his Samartex presentation, Baffoe first discussed the reception he received from the fans and the things management have put in place in ensuring the comfortability of the players.
"In my few days with the team, I have been impressed with the treatment and everything that they have put down for players. It's not by accident that FC Samartex won last season's league.
He was asked if he had a promise to give the Samartex fans.
“I will not promise that we are going to defend the league title but one thing is obvious, we will have another good season.”
Isaac Baffoe signed a three-year contract with Samartex from Bofoakwa Tano, having impressed the technical handlers of the Timber Giants.
He made 20 appearances for relegated Bofoakwa Tano last season, netting one goal.
His prowess and style of play will, greatly, help Samartex as they gear up to play in the CAF Champions League campaign and their quest to defend the Premier League title.
