Newly-captured Asante Kotoko striker, Sampson Eduku has expressed a huge excitement following his move to Asante Kotoko and describes his current feeling as amazing.
The Ghanaian giants have strengthen their attack with the signing of the experienced forward on a permanent deal after official club announcement earlier this afternoon.
He becomes Asante Kotoko's third capture in the second transfer window after goalkeeper Benjamin Twum and red-hot Kwame Opoku.
Speaking for the first time, the lanky gunman shared his elation and has embraced the current competition at the club where he will have to compete against Kwame Opoku and Albert Amoah for the first choice spot in the center-forward position.
“It feels amazing to join a club as big as Kotoko. This is a massive step in my career, and I’m fully aware of the expectations that come with playing for this great club,” Eduku stated.
“I’m here to work hard, score goals, and help the team achieve its ambitions,”
“Competing with talented players like Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku will only push me to be better. I relish the competition, and I’m ready to give my best for this great club,” Eduku concluded.
Sampson Eduku joined Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in August 2023 following his swashbuckling performance for Tamale City FC in the Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season.
He racked up 14 goals and provided 3 assists in 27 appearances in the Ghanaian top-division before departing for greener pastures.
