Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have strengthen their attack with the signing of experienced forward Sampson Eduku on a permanent deal.

The 29-year-old has been training with the Porcupine Warriors for months now after ending his spell with Iraqi giants Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.

Eduku, gave a very good impression of himself at the Adako-Jachie training grounds within this period and caught the good eyes of head coach Prosper Narteh and the other technical team members who quickly advocated for his signing.

He becomes Asante Kotoko's third capture in the second transfer window after goalkeeper Benjamin Twum and red-hot Kwame Opoku.

Sampson Eduku joined Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in August 2023 following his swashbuckling performance for Tamale City FC in the Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season.

He racked up 14 goals and provided 3 assists in 27 appearances in the Ghanaian top-division before departing for greener pastures.
