Newly-named Eleven Wonders head coach, Emmanuel Aidoo has gotten off to a great start following his side’s victory over Dreams FC and has dubbed it as a great.

The ‘Sure Wonders’ recorded their first three points of the season with a resounding 2-0 win over the ‘Still Believe’ lads in the final fixture of Ghana Premier League match-day 12 on Monday.

Two headed goals in each half from Mathew Amponsah and center-back and Edmund Afurapoe were enough to hand them all three points and will hope to build on this momentum heading into their subsequent games

The homesters were reduced to ten men following the red card of Felix Akolor but that happened in the closing moment of the game and had no impact.

In a post-match interview, the enterprising gaffer who just took over says his players gave him the best and the perfect birthday present with that win

“Winning against Dreams FC is a great feeling. You know today is my birthday, so I told my boys and they asked me what do I want. I told them to win this match for me, and that’s what they have done,” Aidoo said.

Eleven Wonders finally had their first victory of the season with this win but will remain at the bottom of the league with six points and will host Swedru All Blacks next.
