Former Black Stars striker, Prince Tagoe, admits that Franck Mbella Etouga has done well but insists that the Ghana Premier league isn't strong.
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier league (GPL) with sixty-seven points, ending their eight years league title drought.
Asante Kotoko Cameroonian striker Franck Mbella Etouga scored twenty-one goals in his maiden campaign in the Ghana top-flight.
Interestingly, former Ashanti Gold forward Yaw Annor pipped him to the top scorers gong.
Prince Tagoe admits that Frack Mbella is a good finisher but the GPL is not competitive.
"I think he has done well but when you look at the current league we are playing, it’s not that very strong like our time," he told Radio Gold.
“I don’t think the goals he scored are bad, he is a very good striker and maybe this is just the first season.
“We should wait and see, we just don’t have to judge a player with just a first season."
