Ashanti Gold gaffer, Thomas Duah, insists that they will play in the Ghana Premier League and issued a threat that if they are demoted all clubs will feature in the Division Two.
Ashanti Gold have been demoted to the Division Two after they were found guilty of match manipulations in their game against Inter Allies in the 2020/21 season.
Both Ashanti Gold and Inter Allies were demoted and fined with implicated Players and officials also punished
Ashanti Gold have officially appealed the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association and applied for a stay of execution.
The Appeals committee is yet to rule on the issue involving both teams and the players.
Nonetheless, the Miners finished seventh in the just ended GPL with forty- seven points.
Thomas Duah says Ash they will participate in the Ghana Premier league (GPL but insists that if they are demoted, then all GPL clubs will play in the Division Two
"We (AshGold) have not been taken out of the GPL so we are preparing and ready for the up coming season, but God forbid we go into Division Two, surely that will not happen," he told Akoma FM.
"Should that happen, then it means all clubs will be playing in that zone(Division Two)," he insisted.
