Asante Kotoko number two, David Ocloo has admitted their game against Berekum Chelsea was really a difficult one but they managed to secure all three points which was the most important thing.
The Porcupine Warriors inflicted a narrow 1-0 win over the Bibires on Monday evening in GPL match-day 13 to extend their recent winning streak to three in the league.
They opened the scoring account on the 40th minute through Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala- who has now scored four goals in his last three games for the Reds in all competitions.
Speaking on StarTimes after the game, the enterprising tactician lauded the recent performance of Mukwala who has been on fire and their starman for the past weeks.
"It's a hard fought win and the most important thing is we have gotten the three points. Yes, Mukwala is on fire but we should have scored three in the first half but unfortunately we couldn't convert the obvious chances that came our away."
Asante Kotoko are currently on the third position with 19 points and will face their sworn and eternal rivals Hearts of Oak in the next round of matches.
