Legon Cities FC gaffer, Michael Osei has confessed they were engaged into a very tedious task but still managed to secure all three points which was their substantive target.

The Miners were drag into a five-goal thriller at Dun's Park last Monday but managed to sail through victors with a 3-2 win in the last fixture of GPL match-week 25.

The game started on a higher note with all five goals recorded at half time after the first three had already been scored after 16 minutes.

Abednego Tetteh notched a brace coupled with another from Gyamfi Kamara to seal the win for the host however, Ebenezer Amegah and Eric Osei Bonsu got the two consolation for the Royals.

Reacting to the win, the Black Meteors deputy coach honestly admitted the toughness of their opponents but was impressed they at least managed a win at the expense of their home fans.

"It was a very dicey game, very difficult looking at the position of our opponents, they were frustrated and came all out. We started the game very well, we got an early goal and later on we slept a little but we came back stronger."

Bibiani Goldstars are currently lurking around 6th on the league log with 38 points and will play as guests to Real Tamale United next week.
