Out-gone Asante Kotoko defender, Joseph Ablorh has sent a heartfelt message after his contract with club was terminated and has thanked them for their unending support from his first day at the club.
The 27-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of the 2025/26 season and arrived on a very higher note and subsequently established himself as a mainstay in the team.
He made over 30 appearances in the Ghana Premier League for the Reds and four in the CAF Confederation Cup and at certain became a constant figure having had great partnerships in defense alongside Samba O’Neil and also Henry Ansu.
The player’s contract has been terminated despite playing 13 games this season with lots of reports suggesting that it was due to gross indiscipline.
In a statement on social media, the lanky center-back expressed gratitude to the management, supporters, teammates and the entire Kotoko fraternity for their unending support opportunity
“Good afternoon, dear Asante Kotoko fans and supporters,
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for the unwavering support and encouragement you gave me throughout my time at the club. It was an honor and a privilege to represent this legendary team.
“I cherish every moment spent on the pitch with my teammates and your applause from the stands. You have been a constant source of inspiration and strength for me.
“As I prepare to embark on a new path, please know that the club and all of you, dear fans, will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything.”
Joseph Ablorh is currently a free agent and is at liberty to join any club of his choice
