Nations FC head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle has described their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Basake Holy Stars as a pivotal moment in their title pursuit.

At a pre-match press briefing, Mingle emphasized that Sunday’s game in Ampain will be decisive for Nations FC, who currently top the league table with 60 points—three points clear of nearest rivals Bibiani GoldStars.

“This won’t be an easy match. It will determine our fate—whether we lift the league trophy or not. This game will decide everything for us,” Mingle stressed, highlighting the high stakes at play.

“Basake Holy Stars are fighting to avoid relegation, while we’re battling to secure the championship. It promises to be a fiercely competitive contest.”

The fixture kicks off at 15:00 GMT on Sunday, June 1, marking the penultimate round of the 2024/25 season.

At the same time, Bibiani GoldStars face a crucial away game against Berekum Chelsea, a match that could significantly impact the title race.

Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko prepare to host Medeama at Baba Yara Stadium but will be missing four key players, including striker Kwame Opoku, in a match with important top-four implications.
