Cioaba Aristica has expressed satisfaction with Aduana FC’s draw against Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The two sides battled to a goalless stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium in a fiercely contested encounter as both teams pushed for victory to strengthen their hopes of finishing in the league’s top four.
Despite creating several opportunities, neither side managed to break the deadlock and eventually settled for a point each.
Speaking after the match, the Romanian tactician highlighted fixture congestion and long-distance travel as major challenges affecting his squad in recent days.
“It was a difficult game. This week we have played three games. Two games away and one home match. We have travelled long distances, and some players are tired,” Aristica said in his post-match interview.
The Aduana FC coach, however, praised his team for avoiding defeat and stressed the importance of the point as the season approaches its conclusion.
“It’s good that we didn’t lose the game. We have another game, and we will try to finish in the top four,” he added.
With only two matches remaining in the campaign, Aduana FC currently occupy fourth place on the Ghana Premier League table with 47 points.
The Dormaa-based club will next host Young Apostles FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park as they continue their push for a strong finish to the season.
