Asante Kotoko interim coach Hamza Obeng has admitted that the club’s recent struggles are affecting its image as they prepare for a crucial Week 31 Ghana Premier League clash against Dreams FC.

The Porcupine Warriors head into the away fixture desperate to bounce back after a difficult spell that has produced just one win, one draw, and three defeats in their last five matches — a run that has intensified pressure from supporters.

Speaking ahead of the game, Obeng acknowledged the need for improvement across all departments while stressing the importance of building a more unified and collective team performance.

“Well, it is not a good image for the club. As I said earlier, we are trying to put everything together, make sure we build in each department so that everything will be okay for us,” he told AKSC Media.

“We try to build one team. It will be a collective play for the team so that we try to manage and get results,” he added.

Kotoko, however, face a tough test as Dreams FC come into the encounter in stronger form, recording three wins, one draw, and just one defeat in their last five matches. The hosts will be hoping to maintain that momentum in front of their supporters.
