Experienced coach Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has resigned from his role as head coach of Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders just few weeks after taking over.

He stepped in as replacement for Nii Odartey Lamptey who was relieved off his duties early this month mainly due to poor performance

The veteran gaffer took over in order to help the club overturn their appalling start but it turned out to be something else having lost his first two matches; away at Vision FC and against league leaders Medeama SC in the last round of matches.

Due to this, J.E Sarpong has decided not to continue and has already tendered in his resignation letter citing personal reasons

Eleven Wonders are still winless this season after ten matches having lost ten and drawn two so far and are currently sitting at the bottom of the table with just two points.

They ‘Sure Wonders’ will hit the road to play away at Hohoe United in the next round of matches.
