Karela United have agreed a deal to sign former Bibiani Gold Stars central midfielder Frank Amankwah on a two-year contract, Kickgh.com can reveal.
The 31-year-old free agent is expected to sign the contract within hours and join the squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign, which kicks off on the weekend of Sept. 12
Amankwah made 26 league appearances for defending champions Gold Stars last season, scoring once and providing several assists. He lifted the Premier League title with the club before parting ways earlier this year.
Karela, who are aiming to strengthen their midfield departmenr, see Amankwah as a key signing for the upcoming season.
