Ghana Premier League outfit, Karela United, has taken decisive action by parting ways with twelve players, citing poor performance as the primary reason for their exit.
Among the notable names released are skilled wingers Richard Berko and Ishmeal Nketsiah, alongside midfielder Mathew Adansi and forward Stephen Akani, who is reportedly undergoing training with Nzema Kotoko.
Other affected players include Bashiru Abdul, Joshua Addai, Muntari Shafiq, Shuraj Ishak, Oshe Mamoud, Abdul Rahman Fuseini, and Haruna Ganew.
The club, currently sitting at the 15th position on the league table for the 2023/2024 season, aims to make strategic changes for the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
