Karela United winger Bless Ege has completed a loan move to Mexican top-flight side Querétaro FC, marking a significant step forward in his young career.

The highly rated attacker has joined the Liga MX outfit on a season-long deal after catching the eye with a series of impressive displays for the Pride and Passion Boys. Ege departed Ghana on Wednesday to begin his new adventure in North America.

The move represents a rapid rise for the winger, who only linked up with Karela United at the start of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Despite his short stay at the Tamale-based side, he made an immediate impact, scoring four goals in 15 appearances.

Ege first rose to national prominence last season when he played a key role in Golden Kick’s remarkable run to the FA Cup final, performances that established him as one of the most sought-after talents on the Ghanaian scene. He went on to attract interest from several leading clubs, including Hearts of Oak, before opting to sign for Karela United.
