Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito says the club remain firmly in the Ghana Premier League title race despite being held to another draw at the weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors collected a point against FC Samartex in their Matchday 11 fixture at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, a result that leaves them fourth on the table with 20 points - three behind leaders Aduana FC.
"Apart from being the first, no position fits Asante Kotoko,” Zito said in his post-match interview.
"We are [still] chasing, and it is not too late. It is only when I draw at home that pains me because I have to go and win away to balance the home games," he added.
Despite their frustration, Kotoko remain the only unbeaten team in the league this season, a run that has kept them within touching distance of the top.
Zito’s side will look to respond with victory when they face Basake Holy Stars in an outstanding fixture on Wednesday (26 November), before returning to the Baba Yara Stadium to host Medeama SC on Matchday 12.
