Swedru All Blacks striker Rudolf Mensah says the team will improve as the Ghana Premier League campaign progresses, despite a difficult start to life back in the top flight.
The newly promoted side have struggled for consistency this season but climbed to 12th on the table with 11 points after beating Dreams FC 3–2 on Sunday, a match in which Mensah scored '𝐎𝐳𝐢𝐢 𝐎𝐳𝐚𝐚' first goal to steer his side to victory at the University Of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Speaking after the game, the silky attacker said he was confident the performance marked a turning point.
“Looking at where we are on the league log, it doesn’t augment how we play, but I think we are doing our best," he said.
“You could see from today’s match that things are going to change, and we hope things change for the better," Mensah added.
All Blacks will look to build on the win when they host Young Apostles in their Matchday 12 fixture at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday.
