Dreams FC gaffer, Abdul-Karim Zito has expressed satisfaction after their win against his former club Asante Kotoko and feels it will be a huge boost for them heading into their subsequent games.

The Porcupine Warriors succumbed to another 2-0 loss to the 'Still Believe' side over the weekend at the Theater of Dreams Park in GPL match-week 25- to suffer back to back loses against the Dawu-based side.

Two goals from Simba Sylvester and Derrick Attah Adjei from each half of the game was enough to hand the hosts all three points.

Dreams FC really came into this game to seek redemption having gone five matches without a win in the league and will hope to build on this momentum as the season progresses.

Speaking after the game, the experienced tactician stated it was a must a win game for them especially playing on home soil following the string of poor results they have recorded recently.

"I did everything possible to win this game, it was a must win and there's no advantage anywhere aside home."

"The win is a big booster because we were struggling to win our league matches recently so we wanted to change the trend and as I have been saying all the time, football always give you the opportunity to make amendments and improve from your previous games."

The Ghana's representatives in the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup will face Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in the first leg of the semi-final on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
