Bechem United head coach, Kasim Ocansey Mingle feels very excited as his side picked their second consecutive victory in the ongoing campaign.
The Hunters humbled champions Asante Kotoko by a resounding 2-0 last Thursday afternoon at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in an outstanding GPL week two tie.
Skipper Kofi Agbesimah opened the scoring account on the 23rd minute from the spot, before young striker Emmanuel Avornyo completed the win in the second half.
Speaking after the game, the experience gaffer stated he was very optimistic they were going to stun the champions and they did just that.
He added they had a very poor start but are now getting back on track gradually and will look to build on from that.
"Before the commencement of the game, I told you we going to beat them. The pitch will decide and the pitch has decided."
"Is work in progress, we started slowly and we have now come in. You know in football at times when you start it doesn't go well for you. If you look at the two previous matches we lost, we were the better side which means we were doing something wrong so we had to rectify it."
Bechem United have now jumped from 15th to the 8th position with 6 points, and will play as guests to Karela United this weekend.
