Nations FC coach Kasim Mingle has reiterated his striker Asamoah Boateng Afriyie's sluggishness in front of goal after a 2-2 draw against Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
An 86th minute strike by Prince Acquah was all Nations FC needed to force the game to end on a stalemate at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.
However, the hosts coach believes the outcome could have been different if his main goal-hanger, who has notched 10 goals, provided one assist in 22 games had made good use of his chances.
“I’m disappointed in him. He had four clear-cut chances but could not utilize even one," Coach Mingle said after the game.
Mingle also insisted that they are not giving up on their Ghana Premier League title challenge.
“When the opportunity comes, we will grab it," he said when quizzed about their title chances.
