Nations FC head coach, Kassim Mingle has revealed why they have to beat Karela United in the Matchday Nine fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
The Abrankese based outfit will face off in the domestic league at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Sunday, November 1.
Mingle insisted their main target is to get a good result and avenge the 1-0 defeat they suffered against Karela in the second round league fixture last season and also turn on the screw to beat the Passioners in their own backyard.
“We will do our best to at least get a good result against Karela United. It’s not going to be easy for us because every club is strong at home. We are going to try as much as possible to bring a favorable result,” he stated.
In the ongoing campaign, Nations FC have annexed three wins, managed four draws and succumbed to one loss after eight rounds of matches.
Nations FC are sitting fourth on the Ghana Premier League table with 13 points.
