After Medeama SC's 3-0 victory over Tamale City on Sunday, securing the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title, Asante Kotoko has extended congratulations to the Tarkwa-based team.
Medeama SC has now taken over the championship from the Porcupine Warriors, who claimed the crown in the previous season.
In a lighthearted manner, Asante Kotoko jokingly advised Medeama SC to keep the trophy safe, as they intend to challenge for it in the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
