After Medeama SC's 3-0 victory over Tamale City on Sunday, securing the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title, Asante Kotoko has extended congratulations to the Tarkwa-based team.
Medeama SC has now taken over the championship from the Porcupine Warriors, who claimed the crown in the previous season.
In a lighthearted manner, Asante Kotoko jokingly advised Medeama SC to keep the trophy safe, as they intend to challenge for it in the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. "Congratulations on being crowned Champions of the 2023 Premier League Season," wrote Asante Kotoko on Twitter, followed by the statement, "keep the trophy safe because we are coming for it ???? @MedeamaSC."
