Gladson Awako has apologised to Hearts of Oak fans after his side put up an horrible display in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
The midfield paragon took to social media to issue an apology, saying the playing body of the team understands the agitation and frustration of the supporters.
“We understand the agitation and frustration as we the playing body let you guys down when we could do much better than ending it this way,” he wrote.
“We’re extremely disappointed in ourselves and we can’t wait for the season to start again in order to make amends.”
The 32-year-old midfielder made only 10 appearances and scored two goals for Hearts in all competitions in the 2022-23 season.
Hearts of Oak ended their season in the 12th spot - bagging just 46 points and four points above the relegation zone.
