Asante Kotoko forward, Albert Amoah's explosive form continued over the weekend having scored the only goal to help give his club an important 1-0 win over sworn rivals Hearts of Oak last Sunday.

The game was a very tough one for both teams with the Porcupine Warriors on top in terms of dominance and blew away lots of goal-scoring opportunities that came their way especially at half-time.

However, in the dying embers, just and when many thought it's ending in a draw, Albert Amoah pounced on a big defensive blunder from the Hearts backline to score calmly and give the Reds a sweet win and the bragging right.

In a post-match interview, the 22-year-old poacher praised Hearts of Oak defender Osei Asibey for giving him a very tough challenge having described him as a very strong defender.

He furthered on by dedicating his goal to former Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe - who assured him of scoring in the Super-Clash before the game.

"Asibey is a very strong person and gave me a tough time but I give the credit to Eric Bekoe because he called this morning that Albert you have a goal today."

Albert Amoah has now scored eight league goals in the ongoing campaign and will hope for more when they travel to Dreams FC in the next round of matches.
