Abdul Latif, the enterprising midfielder for King Faisal, has expressed that the team's current position on the league standings has become a nightmare for them.

The former Wa Suntaa player was instrumental in his team's 3-2 victory over Karela at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, where he scored a goal and won the MVP award.

Faisal initially fell behind to a goal by Emmanuel Owusu Boakye for the visitors in the 41st minute but quickly equalized through Samuel Kusi just two minutes later. Abdul Latif then put the "Insha Allah" boys ahead in the second half, scoring in the 61st minute, and they extended their lead after Bature scored their third.

Although Nketiah pulled one back for the visitors, Ablordey's team held on to secure a crucial win.

Despite the victory, Faisal is still very much in the midst of the relegation battle, which worries Abdul Latif and his team.

In an interview with StarTimes' Jude Acheampong, Abdul Latif stated, "We know what is at stake because our position is not good and we talk to ourselves. We are unable to sleep after losing a game. So today we just said guys there is nothing for us to do than to win, so that is why everybody was fighting."
