After a dour opening half yesterday (Wednesday) which was truncated due to an heavy downpour at the Akoon Park, Medeama slotted home a shot beyond GoldStars keeper Baah at his near post after 69 minutes as the match continued from the second half.
The Miners, although offered a very scintillating display as an attacking threat and were unfortunate not to have notched the equalizer as Abednego Tetteh’s last-gasp effort blazed over in the dying embers.
Medeama held on to their fifth spot with 37 points while GoldStars also kept lurking on the 6th spot with 35 points, having recorded two draws and a win in their last three league games.
