Legon Cities spokesperson Kwame Dwomoh has expressed confidence in the team's preparations ahead of their match against defending champions Asante Kotoko.

According to him, the team has been preparing well for the match, with the aim of securing a victory.

Speaking to Peace FM, Dwomoh explained that the team has been preparing for the match against Asante Kotoko since their last game against Great Olympics. He added that the team is hoping for a positive outcome in the match.

"The match will go on as planned and preparations are ongoing like I say everyday the league is not an event for the whole season. So when you complete one game then you start preparing for the next match. For the last two days we are prepared for the match against Asante Kotoko after our game against Great Olympics. We are preparing and hoping the game will come on tomorrow"

Regarding the venue for the match, which will be held at the El Wak Stadium instead of the Accra Sports Stadium, Dwomoh said that the decision was made due to a letter from the sports authority indicating that some events would be taking place at the Accra Sports Stadium. He also stated that the team has been playing their home matches at the El Wak Stadium since they renovated the facility and put it in shape for their matches.

"Previously we played at the Accra Sports Sports Stadium if you will remember towards December we got a letter from the sports authority that some events will be going on so the clubs should look for other venues. Previously too we had tried El Wak we renovated the place a bit and put the place in shape to play our home matches.
