Newly signed FC Samartex 1996 player, Kofi Agbesimah has stated that he is ready to put so much effort in ensuring he succeeds at the club in his debut season.

The highly-rated defender signed the dotted lines at the reigning Ghana Premier League champions in July after parting ways with Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to FC Samartex media, Kofi Agbesimah said he is not under pressure to dish out scintillating performances during matches.

“I don’t feel any pressure at all. As a footballer, if you are scared of pressure you cannot succeed. I want the fans to support us with goodwill so that we can do very well in Africa,” Agbesimah said.

“I want to play in as many pre-season matches as possible so that I can do well when the season starts," he added.

Agbesimah played for FC Samartex today when the team defeated Nsoatreman FC 4-0 in the first match of the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup.
