Hearts of Oak stalwart striker, Kofi Kordzi after being handed suspension has finally rendered an unqualified apology for his recent insubordinate behavior.

The 27 year old was seen playing in the Sheikh Sharubutu's Cup- an event which was held in honour of the Chief Imam, the very day the 'Phobians' were playing their FA Cup semi final game against Dreams FC.

The Rainbow club released a statement last Tuesday to confirm they have suspended their striker for two weeks and also relegated him to train with their junior side, Auroras within the said period.

With this, the former Al Muaither forward took to his official Twitter page to apologise to the club, the supporters and everyone he's offended with his recent action and has pledged not to repeat that again. He wrote;

"I want to take this opportunity to issue a public apology for the choices I made weeks ago. I understand that my position as a professional footballer brings the responsibility of displaying the act of professionalism and being a role model."

"As such, I want to apologise to my family, friends, football club, supporters and the public for letting them down. It's up to me now to restore your trust and I will do my best to show commitment every day on the training ground both now on suspension and after suspension and most importantly on match days as well. Thank you all once again for your immense support."
