Asante Kotoko gaffer, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum, says it was difficult for them to create chances in their defeat to Berekum Chelsea.
Asante Kotoko was stunned by Berekum Chelsea as Kelvin Obeng's strike claimed the maximum points for the Berekum based side.
Asante Kotoko maintains the top spot with fifty-six points, seven points above second placed Aduana Stars.
The Porcupine Warriors have now failed to win in their last three consecutive home games after losing to Legon Cities, drawing to Aduana Stars and losing again to Berekum Chelsea.
Dr Narteh admits that Berekum Chelsea defended robustly, and it was difficult fou his side to penetrate for clear goal scoring opportunities.
"We tried as much as possible to make sure that we keep the ball high up in their area to create those spaces around them.
"They had a solid defence and tried to block those final passes to those spaces which made it very difficult for us to actually have clear chances at goal," he admitted.
Asante Kotoko will travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama on Monday.
