Asante Kotoko Communications Director Sarfo Duku has warned of a stern test when the Porcupine Warriors host Medeama SC in Sunday’s Ghana Premier League Matchday 11 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Speaking to Kessben FM, Duku admitted Medeama will be a tough opponent, while calling on supporters to create a charged atmosphere at home.

“We take on Medeama in a high-profile Premier League match on Sunday. We are going into the game with all seriousness. We need to fill the stadium to the brim because it’s not going to be an easy game for us,” he said.

“We’ve shared the spoils with the league contenders including Aduana FC and Heart of Lions. Playing Medeama as one of the league contenders, we need to electrify the atmosphere to be able to beat them.”

“I will plead with the fans not to disappoint us. They should come in their numbers.”

Asante Kotoko are fourth on the league table with 20 points, just two behind third-placed Medeama, setting up a crucial nerve cracker as both sides chase the three maximum points.
