Asante Kotoko's head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, anticipates a competitive game when they face Nations FC.
The Porcupine Warriors will visit the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday for their matchday six fixture on October 22.
Kotoko experienced a challenging start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season but has recently secured consecutive victories.
Looking ahead to their match against the Premier League newcomers at Abrankese on Sunday, Narteh Ogum is optimistic about the upcoming fixture but emphasized the need for a well-thought-out strategy against Kasim Mingle's side.
"Yeah, it is more or less like a local derby and it is going to be a perfect match," he expressed to StarTimes. "They are also a ball-playing side, and we will strategize on how to approach the game," Dr. Ogum added.
Asante Kotoko currently occupies the 4th position on the league table with 8 points earned from five games played.
