Asante Kotoko lead Hearts of Oak slightly in their long-standing Ghana Premier League rivalry, with more wins recorded since the two sides first met in 1958.
In 119 league meetings so far, Kotoko have won 41 matches, while Hearts of Oak have claimed 38 victories. The remaining 40 games have ended in draws which shows how close the Super Clash has been over the years.
Sunday’s encounter will be the 120th Premier League meeting between the two biggest clubs in Ghanaian football and is expected to draw huge attention once again.
Despite Kotoko’s slight historical advantage, both sides come into the match separated by just one point on the league table, making Sunday's match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium a competitive showdown.
The Super Clash is a big game in Ghana football with bragging rights, past records and league points up for grabs.
